Acceptance, attempts, cutoffs, distance, payment, refunds, notary appointments — written down before you send anything, so nobody has to argue about it after.
How a request runs
Every request follows the same path. The tracking link is in every message we send you.
You send the serve — through the intake form, by email, or by text. You get an automatic receipt with a reference number.
A human reviews every request. Usually within the hour during phone hours; after hours, by the next business morning. We check the documents, the address, and whether the job is one a private server can lawfully do. Nothing is charged at this stage.
You get a text and email with your first-attempt window, your private tracking link, and (for individuals) the payment link.
Status updates as the server heads out and arrives. Every attempt is posted live with GPS, timestamp, photo, and a note on what happened — successful or not.
Status flips to served the moment it happens, and the notification goes out.
The sworn, notarized return of service is emailed within 24 hours of completion — usually the same day.
Hours
Phone — (469) 326-8445 takes calls Mon–Fri, 10 AM–8 PM CT. Calls are fine; texts are faster.
Texts and website intake — 24/7, and texting is preferred. Overnight texts are answered first thing in the morning.
Serve attempts — evenings and Saturdays are standard, not an upcharge. No Sunday service: Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 6 bars serving civil process on Sunday, except injunctions, attachments, garnishments, sequestrations and distress proceedings. We don't knock on Sundays; notary appointments are fine on Sundays.
Same-Day cutoff
Same-Day requests must be received by 1:00 PM CT, Mon–Fri, with the documents attached or already emailed.
After 1 PM, Same-Day closes for the day. Rush (first attempt within 24–48 hours, usually the same evening or next morning) is the fastest option.
Saturday same-day is available only by text arrangement (never Sunday — TRCP 6) — text (469) 326-8445 and we'll tell you straight whether we can make it.
Attempts
Every tier includes up to three attempts at one address. Attempts are made at different times of day on different days, and at least one is an evening or Saturday attempt. No attempts on Sundays (TRCP 6), unless the document is an injunction, garnishment, attachment or sequestration.
Routine — first attempt within 3–5 business days; all three within 7 business days$85
Rush — first attempt within 24–48 hours; all three within 4 business days$135
Same-Day — first attempt the same day; remaining attempts within 48 hours$175
After three unsuccessful attempts
A due-diligence affidavit built from the GPS-and-photo log, supporting a Rule 106 motion for substituted service — $45.
Additional attempts at the same address — $20 each.
A new or corrected address — +$50; this restarts the three attempts at the new address.
Locate assist — not skip tracing
We do not offer skip tracing as a standalone service. We assist with locating a person only as part of a serve we've been hired for — Locate assist, +$65 — using public records, county data, and the information you give us.
Added at intake when your address confidence is "old or uncertain," or after attempts show the address is dead.
Everything you give us on the intake form — photos, phone numbers, socials, employer, vehicles, habits — goes straight into the locate work. The more you give us, the less there is to do.
Locate assist is a research add-on, not a guarantee. If we can't confirm a serviceable address, we tell you what we found and what it points to.
Payment
Nothing is charged before acceptance.
Individuals and pro se filers pay through the Square link before the first attempt. The acceptance message carries the link.
Law firms on net-30 terms are invoiced after service.
What we need from you
Documents complete and received before dispatch. We can't serve what we don't have.
Correct spelling of every name. The return of service repeats what you give us.
Disclose known risks — dogs, weapons, prior violence, protective orders. These change how we serve, never whether.
We are process servers, not attorneys. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
Distance
One rule for serves and notary appointments alike. It's computed from the address you type at intake, shown before you send, and it doesn't change afterward.
First 20 miles from our North Plano base (75025) — serve address or appointment addressIncluded
Beyond 20 miles — each additional 5 miles, or any part of 5+$15
Example: 27 miles from base is 7 miles past the line — two 5-mile blocks+$30
Serve + notary in one order, different addressesQuoted as two trips
Statewide serves outside our four countiesQuoted from $125, distance included in the quote
Distance is road miles from base to the address, as the intake computes it. A second address on the same serve (+$50) gets its own distance check. If an address can't be placed automatically, we confirm the travel in the acceptance message — never after the attempt.
Notary appointments
JC is a commissioned Texas notary public. The appointment side runs by its own short set of rules, because the law gives a notary no room to improvise.
How an appointment works
Appointment only. We're mobile, not a storefront — JC comes to the signer at home, the office, a hospital room, a care facility, or a jail by arrangement. No walk-ins, because there's nowhere to walk in to.
Request it through the intake (pick Notarization), by text, or by phone. JC confirms the time by text or email, usually within the hour during business hours; after hours, next business morning.
Evenings and weekends are fine, by appointment, at the same price.
$35 travel within 20 miles of base + $10 per notarial act, +$25 if we bring a witness, distance per the rule above. Nothing is charged before the appointment is confirmed.
What has to be true at the door
Valid government photo ID for every signer — driver's license, state ID, passport, military ID. Expired doesn't count. No ID, no notarization, and the $35 travel is still owed.
Signer present, lucid, and willing. JC will ask. A signer who can't confirm they understand and want to sign doesn't get notarized — not a judgment call, a legal requirement.
Document finished before we arrive. We don't draft, fill in blanks, or advise on what you're signing. We're not attorneys; JC notarizes signatures, not decisions.
Documents in another language are fine if the signer and JC can communicate directly; if not, say so at intake and we'll tell you honestly whether we can do it.

What we can't serve
Texas Rule 103 reserves some things for sheriffs and constables. We'll tell you at review, not after you've paid.
Writs of possession, execution, or attachment — officer-only.
Eviction citations, unless the court has signed an order authorizing a private server. (Notices to vacate are fine.)
Anything where we or our family are a party to the case.
Read it. Now send it.
