A protective order only protects you once the other person has been served. We deliver temporary ex parte orders, applications, notices of hearing and TROs across Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties — with care for your safety and proof the court will accept.
Texas protective orders (Family Code chapters 82–85) and temporary restraining orders bind the respondent once they've been properly served — and enforcing an order usually means proving they knew about it. The application, any temporary ex parte order and the notice of hearing have to be personally delivered before the hearing date. Late or sloppy service can mean a reset hearing and more time unprotected.
Hearings on protective orders are usually set quickly. Pick Rush (first attempt within 24–48 hours) or Same-day (when the request is in and paid by 1:00 PM CT). Tell us the hearing date at intake — we'll say honestly which speed makes it.
| County | Routine | Rush | Same-day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Collin | $85 | $135 | $175 |
| Denton | $85 | $135 | $175 |
| Dallas | $95 | $145 | $185 |
| Tarrant | $110 | $160 | $200 |
Inside those four counties travel is included — no mileage, wherever the address is. Outside them: Collin rates plus $15 for each additional 5 miles beyond 20 miles from our North Plano base, confirmed in writing before we accept. Every tier includes up to three attempts, GPS + photo on each one, a live tracking link and a court-ready affidavit of service.
Payment-first, no surprises: a human reviews every request before anything happens. Once it's approved you get a secure pay link — nothing starts until it's paid, and nothing is ever charged if we can't take the job. No invoicing, no payment plans.
If you're in immediate danger, call 911 first. Constables and sheriff's offices also serve protective orders, often at no charge to the applicant — we're the option when you want speed, documentation and someone answering your texts.
As soon as the handoff happens, your tracking link shows it (without the address), and you get a text. The affidavit of service follows — it records who was served, the date and time to the minute, how they were identified, and our certification details — so the court has proof of notice at the hearing. If the respondent says anything notable when served, it goes in our notes for your attorney. Keep a copy of the affidavit with your copy of the order; if the order is ever violated, proof that the respondent was served is part of what makes it enforceable.
We spread attempts across times and days, log every one with GPS and photos, and give you or your attorney a sworn record of diligence to take back to the court — including the facts a judge needs to consider alternative service.
Sundays: Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 6 bars serving most civil process on Sunday, with exceptions for injunctions and a few other writs. If your order may fall in an exception, tell us — otherwise attempts run Monday through Saturday.
